Ice-creams, oily T-zones and a battle between sun & rain can only mean one thing.. British Summer has started!
Symptom of the Summer Skin Blues:
- face too oily
- sweating like a beast
- makeup melting off
... and pretty much everything else that could go possibly go wrong.
I usually try to avoid foundation during summer, however my skin is not perfect and still needs some coverage. Instead I use a primer, conceal any imperfections with my Pro Longwear Concealer and top it off with my trusty Studio Fix Plus powder foundation. This powder is amazing and has such great coverage that you really don't need to use a foundation underneath.
Using a lip primer or even a balm is great during summer because it keeps your lips moisturised and your lipstick intact! I also like using a tint under some of my lipsticks as it keeps the colour pigmented when my lipstick eventually wears off.

One of my recently discovered brow faves! Benefit Speed Brow is great for setting brow makeup and making your brows look natural! It has a universal, tinted gel formula which dries and stays put all day!
Remember, expensive products aren't always the best! Pop into your local Boots or Superdrugs and browse through some of their products! You'll be shocked at how many dupes you can find!
